ANDHRA PRADESH HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE (APHRDI)
Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Govt. of India have initiated a programme called "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB)". This initiative was announced by Hon’ ble Prime Minister on 31st October, 2015 coinciding with the 140th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel.
One of the objectives of this initiative is to promote the spirit of National Integration through exchange of all levels of Govt. functionaries between the paired States and UTs with a view to familiarize them with rich heritage, culture, customs and traditions of other States/UTs to enable them to understand and appreciate the diversity of India.
The EBSB is in four parts. The details are as follows:
1) A total of 11 ACUTs of 2018 batch of Andhra Pradesh visited Punjab during 3rd to 7th Feb., 2020.
2) A total of 4 ACUTs of 2018 batch of Punjab visited Andhra Pradesh during 24th to 28th of Feb., 2020.
3) Officials of Punjab & AP :
The maximum no., of participants for the programme of Officials as indicated by DoPT is 60, out of which 30 participants would be from the paired State i..e, from Punjab and another 30 from the host state i..e, AP.
About 24 Officers from 7 departments viz., Water & Sanitation, Excise & Taxation, Employment Generation & Training, Technical Education and Industrial Training, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Soil & Water Conservation, Industry and Commerce from Punjab have participated in this EBSB programme.
About 29 Officers from 8 departments viz., Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Commercial Tax, Medical & Health, Registration and Stamps, State Audit, Water Resources and SSA from Andhra Pradesh have participated in this EBSB programme.
4) 24th –- 28th March, 2020 : Proposed visit of 30 officials of AP to Punjab
